Michael Berry , owner and principal, is a second generation builder, with over 20 years of experience as a general contractor, committed to quality workmanship, and client satisfaction. As a licensed general contracting firm, Old South Traditions has extensive experience in numerous building categories including commercial/retail, health care, residential, and damage remediation. Understanding design and building issues and opportunities of such a broad range of building project has given Old South Traditions the expertise to see that every project is executed with the utmost quality in a timely manner.

As part of a design/build team, the client is brought to the table with the Architect, Interior Designer, Landscape Architect, and Subcontractors to ensure the design and constructions of all spaces; be it indoors, outdoors and even the doors themselves are all of the same character and meet the goals and needs of the client.
Using Old South Tradition’s innovative Cost Planning system, every necessary element of the building is line itemized. By doing so, the client can make additions or subtractions to the construction plans to fit within a budget. As a result, the contractor, professionals and sub-contractors all have open lines of communications with the client if needed.
Insurance- Damage Remediation
The loss of property due to a disaster such as flooding or fire can be a very trying experience for a property owner. Understanding the need for sensitivity in such situations has given Old South Traditions the experience to tackle any type of damage remediation. They understand property loss is difficult. Old South Traditions has complete, in-house computer hardware, software, and equipment for preparing project work, technical reports, specifications, budgets, and schedules to meet the needs of any project such as Quantum Project Management, Xactware estimating software and Soft Plan.
They continue to use quality and specialized sub-contractors when needed in order to maintain the highest level of work and cost control.
