 Biography: Founder of Tom E. Greene Law, LLC and Greene Capital, LLC. Tom Greene has over three decades legal and financial experience covering corporate, estate and asset protection planning; expert witness testimony; corporate management; investment banking; and corporate acquisitions.
Tom graduated with a B.A. in political science from the University of Georgia, has a Juris Doctorate from Emory University Law School, and attended NYU Graduate School of Business.
His experiences and accomplishments include: Member of Georgia and Washington D.C. Bar Associations since 1972, Certified Asset Protection Planner, Secretary and counsel to Paine Webber (now UBS), Senior investment banker, Goldman, Sachs & Co., Senior Vice President Lehman Brothers, Trustee of Georgia Educational Enhancement Fund, Advisor to President's transition team on capital finance (1976), New York Coordinator for Governor John Connally's Presidential Campaign (1979 - 1980), Georgia State Senate Appropriations Advisory Board, Distinguished Practitioner/Lecturer Terry College of Business UGA; expert testimony in Washington, D.C. before the Senate Finance Committee, House Ways and Means Committee and House Interstate Commerce Committee. Trustee Dooley Library Endowment Fund, Advisory Board Athens Banner Herald, member Gridiron Society, director Provident Resources and Small Voices Foundation, Registered Investment Advisor, member Athens Rotary Club, Co-author and producer of acclaimed Off-Broadway play, Baseball Wives.

I joined the Athens Referral Factory in March of 2007. This has been the best thing I could have ever done to enhance my own job. I have made the strongest connections with business people throughout the area and I really enjoy helping their businesses strive, as well. Every week I can’t wait to meet up with all my friends to talk about the ways we can all help each other out and life in general.
